Three-year-old Nqobile* was severely malnourished when he joined our Mbipha playgroup in 2015.
Thanks to our donors, we stepped in with a monthly food parcel; and urgently placed Nqobile in our extended feeding programme.
The results were remarkable. After eight months, he blossomed from a reserved, underweight child to a healthy little boy who plays energetically with other children.
There are thousands of Cotlands children like him growing up all over South Africa. They may have had a tough start to life but – thanks to our donors – it’s not where they start their learning journeys, but where they go that counts!
