Cotlands has further spread its reach to one of the most remote areas in South Africa – Mkhondo – in Mpumalanga with the establishment of the Mkhondo ECD inter-sectoral pilot project.

The initiative, spearheaded by Mondi, includes Cotlands as one of the strategic partners together with TTN, the Department of Health and the Department of Social Services, to be part of this innovative project that aims to see at least 350 children younger than 5 years that reside in remote villages receive access to a variety of services.

This collaborative effort aims to address the health and psychosocial needs, as well as the scant access to learning and stimulation opportunities within the area.
