On her first day in South Africa, Princess Anne of England visited Cotlands and its brand new Toy Library. The princess was greeted by members of the Cotlands staff, including CEO Jackie Schoeman.
“It was a privilidge to host Princess Anne at Cotlands and to show her our innovative work in the ealy childhood development space,” said Schoeman.
The new Toy Library and learning rooms were initiated after an in depth survey revealed the communities need for safe play areas for children as well as tools to raise the standard of local ECD’s.
The revamp was undertaken in collaboration with ‘Save the Children’ who accompanied the Princess on her visit.
Princess Anne is in the country as part of the 2012 festivities to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
