Cotlands enjoyed a bit of give and take on Mandela Day; with some of us being on the receiving-end; and others on the giving-end.
Our Olieven site was visited by a team from Silver Soft, who came bearing gifts of toys, clothes and delicious lunch packs. The Connect.TV team chased away the winter blues at our Baptist site with gifts of blankets, muffins, hot chocolate and a new urn; while Graeme Beck donated a TV and 30 party packets to a playgroup in the Western Cape.
On the giving side, Cotlands conducted toy library training and distributed food parcels, and visited an old-age foundation with food parcels and helped with cleaning and cooking.
We felt blessed not only to receive love, but to work together and offer love. Thank you all for keeping the spirit of Madiba alive.
