More than 350 children from 13 hard- to-reach villages in Mtubatuba in KZN now have access to early learning and health services, thanks to an exciting collaboration between Cotlands, Mondi and the KZN Department of Health.

Much like the Mkhondo collaboration in Mpumalanga, this partnership sees Cotlands hitch a trailer of educational toys onto a mobile health clinic. The Mondi-sponsored clinics follow a set route, providing health services to villagers, and a Cotlands toy librarian accompanies the clinic. The librarian sets up a play area wherever the clinic stops, and mothers and children play and learn while they wait for their check-ups.

This is just the beginning and we hope to extend our services throughout KZN. Thanks to our donors and partners for taking toys and healthcare into rural communities.
