This resource portal offers parents access to important information on early learning play-based activities. Practice these activities at home so that your children continue to learn and develop. You can also send messages to our play facilitators via this portal and receive regular communications regarding our playgroups and toy library services.
Play at home: Weekly lesson plans
Our “Play at home” video series comprises of weekly lesson plans and play-based activities for parents to watch and practice with your children at home. They have been designed by our early childhood development experts to ensure your child develops to their best potential. Activities are designed to develop children’s language, maths, science, music and art skills.

Our partners The Department of Social Development, Department of Basic Education and UNICEF South Africa are producing a daily series of early learning activities to support parents and caregivers with resources to develop our children from birth to five years at home during the lockdown period. The “Play, learn and grow” series is based on the National Curriculum Framework for Children birth to four years (NCF) and the National Parenting Programme

The best toy library services
To increase access to quality early childhood learning for all our children we offer a toy library service to communities. The toy libraries provide toys and theme kits that support the learning plan, which consist of books, toys, games and other resources. Monthly parenting programmes are offered to inform, support and encourage positive parenting skills.
